Information for Trellis students
These documents and related resources are intended for graduate students who have already been selected and are currently participating in Horticulture CRSP Trellis Fund projects.
Please view this first: Our funding instructions tell you how to make your travel arrangements, who to contact, when to do what, and which forms to file. Documents listed below with (*) are those you will need to submit to Horticulture CRSP.
Travel and funding instructions
- Visa requirements (pdf)
Basic information about fees and requirements about traveling to these particular countries. More information about traveling to each of these countries is also available from the U.S. Department of State. - *Pre-travel request form (doc)
Horticulture CRSP needs to know your dates of travel at least 3-4 weeks in advance to work on travel arrangements. Then complete and submit this form once you have your travel arranged, but before you leave the country. - *Reimbursement request form (doc)
Make sure to keep your lodging receipts and use this form to file for reimbursement after you return.
Forms for reporting activities
- *Monthly reports (doc)
You will submit this report monthly, for each of the six months of your project's activities. - *Trip report form (docx)
After you travel, you will submit this form summarizing your experiences. Please make sure to include any details that you found particularly noteworthy — surprises, accomplishments, positive or negative highlights. Here is a completed trip report as an example.
